This summer, the Young Adult (YA) Department of the Metuchen Public Library will offer a wide array of free programs for Metuchen teens entering grades 6-12. Among the offerings are two book discussion groups, acting/improvisation classes, a filmmaking workshop, poetry and fiction workshops, a watercolor painting class, an introduction to fencing class, and a video game day. American Legion Post 65 of Metuchen is sponsoring a raffle for a chance to win a 10 day Caribbean Cruise for Two on the Ruby Princess setting sail from New York City on November 4th, 2009. The drawing will take place at the American Legion Hall on July 25, 2009. Winner need not be present. The donation for a ticket is $20.
